Hahah. Randomly coming in for a short post
and also just to check if anyone is still looking at this blog

But since everyone is so busy,
i doubt it.

But then again. I'm just coming in here to ramble

I hope we can make more activities together
but everyone's different timetable
makes it hard to arrange
take fore example this coming's week planning for cycling trips
always bound to have a few that cant make it somehow.
A bit poor thing for Jiayi, she had to do all the coordination

And also,
Something i always tells my other group of friends.
We can have more gatherings/meetup
so that although we cant all meet up at the same time
we still get to see some of you once in a while/
That means when we meet,
we don't have to make sure everyone can make it
those that cannot can always join the next meetup, right?

Ever since moving my blog to Tumblr, I don't check my blogger anymore, was surprised to see updates here too! And yea, I chanced upon this accidentally too :o!

What am I doing now?
I'm resting at home, trying to get more sleep haha. Sleepless nights have taken its toll on me - weird sleeping hours & dark eye bags :< I had just finished doing some stuffs for Design Show (Do come if you are free! I had msg most of it about it :D) and next would be redo-ing my resume & business card etc (but I had been procrastinating :x).

Any interesting things that happened in my life (Bf/Results?):

Okay, back to topic. Uh, results are going to be out pretty soon and I'm not really positive about it, 'cause my GPA won't be high enough for me to go into local Universities :/ (sucks to be a poly kid sometimes, oh well). Shall be focused on finding a job instead!

Had an on-and-off crush on some guy but he's always attached anyway, so it became an eye candy instead lolol. I think that's all?

(Bleah, that wasn't interesting at all D: lolol)

How has my life been?: 
I won't say it has been great because it isn't. Lots of personal stuffs to settle etc :/ But I'm glad that I still have my family and my poly friends by my side most of the time; at least that stops me from thinking negative thoughts, too much that it's totally crazy.

Any thoughts:
I miss you guys and I won't forget the times we had together when we were in Secondary School :) Meet up soon! :)

Currently i'm working at my auntie's office. Was working parttime then just decided to become full time. I graduated with not too good a results so i probably wont go local uni too. I want to go private u too! But i have no idea which uni and what course. I hate making decisions like that :(

Any interesting things that happened in my life (Bf/Results?):

I celebrated my birthday with the craziest things this week. My poly frens created something like an amazing race for me on my birthday. I had to go from school to plaza and then bugis. I was made to do forfeits by taking pictures with strangers. And also dressing up really nicely with the gifts my frens gave me. I went to USS with my frens and their friends, had a really good time there. You guys should go there sometimes. Btw, i'm still single ( No one wants me , haha)

How has my life been?:

Anyway, shall mentions all the happy things. This week was the most happening.
I received wishes from all of you.
So happy that you guys remembered! Thankyou so muchhh.
I also went out to do crazy stuff with my currently poly frens which i totally didnt expect.
Life beens more downs then ups, but i'm glad i had you guys and my poly frens in it!

Any thoughts:

Had so much fun doing things in big groups that i missed the times we hadddd. :'(
Oh wait, happy things! So no saddness. Just wanna let you guys know how much i appreciate having you guys in my life. You guys can never be replaced in my life.

at the zoo
to be some station masters for events on weekends

Just going to accompany my friends there i guess
since the pay is not very high

but i did have some fun in uni, working as a research assistant in nus, trap in e lab whole day wif my lab coat.. looking for invertebrates from various water samples.. u noe ppl dig for gold, i dig for worms.. hahaha..

anyway, im having my first paper tis coming sat, 20th nov.. 3 papers on 23rd nov.. last paper on 24th nov, then im free!! =)

Oh, about me going away for 3 months: that period of time is my internship aka work attachment. I'll be working as an intern for an overseas company :) About where I'm going... hahah thanx boonie (: with solns huh? hmmms i dont hve that hahah anw im back in school already. 1st week finally gone! wahhhhh was looking forward to the long wkend cz its bz bz BZ during the school days. mon n thurs is my most longest day. and wed and thurs i have lessons back to back :S i just realised how tiring school can get. what more with the arts fusion concert coming up and im in the dance so i have to struggle with sch n dance for one month till end of apr. i die die must juggle well. anw dance and pe on the same days! ill have my leg muscles trained in no time man! hahah must train for napha..... :/

anw my class is okayy ba... quite welcoming and friendly.... most of em... just that being in their class very stressed coz they very on de. they v motivated and enthu abt their studies. so hardworking. all of them. everytime break time, will see them studying or doing work. sometimes it gets scary luhh but in a class so full of them, we cant afford to be scared but to just join them and be hardworking as well. after all, we're back again in school to score better for As right? so yupp.... jiayous jiayous lizahh!!! :D

heys heys just came here to update yall.... seeing how i rarely use the computer nowadays and i guess i wont be using it much in the near future either... thats coz.... im going back to school.... yahhhh i know it sounds insane and all but i got accepted to retain... i know yall must be thinking like no, just go on with life, find other options and all...

but when i consider things, i dont really want to go nie. and now neither do i want to go to ntu. as for poly, the main issue is three years and i get a dip plus i have to adapt to the new lifestyle there (not saying that i cant but i just have this feeling that itll be hard for me) and somehow i just dont want to go to poly either. the only thing in my mind right now is to cheong for As. like really really cheong like i never cheong in my life before. and get that As that i need to get into nus. yahhh.... i wanna get into nus. retaining another year is worth it as long as i get into nus. be it business or fass.

so now that ive got that goal in mind, distinct and clear goal of where i wanna go, ill work hard to get to it. i know i will and i can. previously, i didnt have a goal in mind. like go where my results can get me to. but now, no. i know where i wanna go and im gonna work towards it. make sure i get to it. it's not everyday that i get a second chance to repeat a part of my life. so yuhhh. i'd better make good and full use of it and get it this time around.

i know it's easy to say all this now. like oh i can do it. and everything. saying is easy. doing is another thing. so i shouldnt say. just do. i know going through the whole thing again is going to be another tough round and shitty and all. but gotta kick procrastination in the butt and away from me. gotta persevere on and not give up. i hope i have enough determination and motivation to pull me through this one. i know this is what i want.

i havent applied for nie and ntu and i dont intend to although my vp and teacher asked me to apply for it. but i know that that is not what i want. even if i get into nie, it still is the last option to me. i know teaching is not bad, it's a stable job and all, and im not saying teaching is bad but i just cant let myself go down that road when i dont really have a passion for teaching. like i cant force myself to do something that i know is not what i want to do. teaching is not bad, it's just, not for me. and the same goes to ntu. if i apply and if i get in, it will most probably be the course that i dont want to get into.

but i dont know. no harm trying right? if its successful, can always reject. but i know im not applying for nie. sigh. dont know lahhhhh....... all that is going thru my head now is cheong cheong cheong for As and get the results i want and go into nus.

btw no news from kw lehhh.... and and how was gan's results? i didnt hear anything about his also lehh....

My results aren't any fantastic either.. If any1 wants to know can go read my blog:] But i think i should be applying to NUS FASS, NTU Arts and social sciences department, NIE EL/CL, then if cannot i'll go ACCA to learn accounting instead ba... i think just take one step at a time and hope for the best.. :/ I duno whether should go poly anot.. but does anyone know the deadline for applying to poly?

And lizzy, about the guy, i know it's hard, but srsly if u feel that things are not possible to be better ady, then my suggestion is to leave the person, and open your doors for better ones in the future..! If u can, maybe find another job.. so that u dun have to go thru such a torture like that everyday when you go to work ya..

aiyohhhh now then i see the posts from all of yalll. alamak xy i din see ur post. den nw ive already applied to retain. but dnt tink so can retain since i gt a full cert. but just try la. anw i applied for mass comm n business studies in ngee ann poly ady. results on whether i get into the poly will be on 5th april. and results for the retaining would be end of this week or early next week.

on top of that, im gna apply for nie as well as ntu courses. apply for all the courses in ntu n see wich one can get in ba. but i havent apply online yet. since application ends 1 april, ill wait for the retain results first ba. if cannot retain, i apply for nie and ntu ba.

as for private uni....
i went for the education ting at suntec. oni ting i got was that mdis is affordable. but still it costs 28k for two years excluding other fees. and sim is so ex! 60k! i tink im gonna die man from just repaying the interests and bank loan! and i dont tink its a good idea to get a bank loan and repay after graduation. interest rates so high. furthermore, dont tink i can afford it. a burden after graduation man.

but for smu hmmms.... i missed the open house for that. so i havent checked that out yet. but i tink some pte uni have limited courses lehhhh. like no mass comm or comm studies de. mainly business and accountancy etc etc

im intending to go for ntu, nus and myb sim open hse this wkend. go there see see. maybe can get sumting out of it. and i want go IT fair too! will be a busy wkend hahah :p

btw my someone asked me try out nursing hahah i dont know lehhhh.....
nursing? i cant see myself nursing other ppl..... hahah

oooooohhhhh and i heard that if i get into mass comm at ngee ann, ill need to get a mac! oh no! ex much. and i dont like mac. not user friendly de :S speaking of ngee ann.... when i went down there on tues to hand in my form n docs, i felt SO out of place! like i dont belong therre at alll. like seriously. have this weird feeling. and im tinking that if i do get in there, itll maybe be a hard time for me to adapt to the new lifestyle there. plus! must make new frens! ill be so alone there during the first time laaa.... :(

hmm.. i tink lizah u can try SMU which is half private and half government.. so e fees wont be tt high.. haha.. jus a suggestion.. anyway, i dun tink retaining is a gd choice, looking at tis yr J2 tchers wont be e same and u will need time to adapt to their teaching style.. esp if u *choy choy choy* kanna tt robin seow..

nanny, im planning to register life sci (specialisation in biomedical sci) and life sci (specialisation in molecular and cell biology) in NUS and bio-engineering in NTU.. haha.. like u said, later i will have more choice :)

Hey Lizah, I thought I would ehhhh give some comments on the options you state hahas. Hope you don't mind and that please just take my comments as a pinch of salt ^^

Hmm, you can choose to retain if you are very confident that you would be able do well for A's again. Are you still okay with studying, as in mugging? ('cause I can't mug, oops x.x) Anyway, doing A's again sound a bit risky, that's what I think -> This is my merely my opinion, do heck care this if you are determined to retake again, lol.

As for polytechnic or private uni, the end 'result' is quite different, one would be a diploma, the latter would be a degree. If you want to count the money factor in, poly would be cheaper. And from what I think, going to a poly would be less 'risky'. If you *TOUCHWOOD x100000* are not interested in the diploma that you are taking, you can pursue another degree. But you are taking a degree, and that you feel that you don't like/whatever reasons, you can drop out and take another degree but the thing is now: fees from your previous sems + new sem for new degree. Plus uni fees are ex D: So yeah.

Oh btw, if you want to choose the poly route, I think you have to be fast since the new intake may be ending soon (poly starts school around the end of April). Anyway, wish you good luck in applying the degree/diploma that you want (:

AND AH! Xinyi, congrats! :D Good luck in applying into NUS! Btw I think you should send your applications to all local universities so you would have the choice to choose later on hahas. Good luck! (:

Anyway, I see that you guys have been trying to organise an outing, esp Boonie, thanks for the hard work! As for Gun's situation, basically there's only 2 solutions -> 1. Go without him; 2. Wait till Jan (but I'm not sure when's he is being enlisted in NS :o). Personally I don't mind waiting till Jan, but I thought meeting up during Xmas makes it more meaningful..? Or something like that la lol.

Hmm.. Everyone is free on 26 & 27, but Eddie has a job and can't be free on both days.. It's a short duration job so can't take leave.. He'll be free on Weekdays, but some of us are working on weekdays and only free on weekends... We only gather a few times a year cuz of our busy schedule.. so i think it's better to choose a date when all of us can make it right? If so, if we postpone, it might be pushed to next year prolly Jan? But it's kinda far... And I know we can't wait to see each other.. haha..

I dno how to settle this.. We discuss here and see if there's any solution to it ya?

(even if i do hv those tots, i wouldnt hv the courage to do anyting!) so yuhhh...... im gna have to see her more often now seeing how prelims are in 16 days and As are coming and evrytings crumbling so yupp.

Life's been frigging busy.. I guess it's e same for everyone... I slept at 1++ for 2 consecutive days, and friday was e worse cuz i had a energy- draining P.E. lesson(Training for NapfA) and had many trips in school tt need me to climb up and down from 1st to 4th floor again and again.. haha.. just popped by to update on this blogg... ive been really really busy with school and all what with being the quizmaster for the maths n science quiz coming up on the 26th plus the planning of farewell party for my cca and other cca stuffs. and on top of that, i gotta concentrate on my studies coz well... my grades are slipping. seriously slipping. ive got like all Us for my H2s and all JUst pass fer my H1 subjects. and this is definitely not good news. had meet the teacher session yesterday and well you can kinda predict what the teachers said luhh. all commented on how im not performing my best and not concentrating enough and all. haiz. at this rate, chances of me getting retain is super duper high. and if i do get retain. should i change my subject combi? coz its like im stronger at my languages than at sciences now that i look at it. olvls no As at all for science when its like suppose to be my main subjects? all Bs luhh... den nw at jc also the same... i fail somemore. Ungraded uhh. even my maths...... :/ dont tell me ive lost all hope and whatnots to study already? coz its like dun feel like studying le. like study fer what. dno whats my aim, where i wanna go and what i wanna do in the future.... haiz... like wth luhh... something has seriously gone wrong with me... im dropping deep down like nobodys business.... haiz...
